This makes very interesting reading. In my experience, the initial response to my approach from potential candidates about a new career opportunity is usually "I'm not actively looking", however, once trust is established, it soon becomes clear that, in fact, they are more than open to a discussion and, as we get deeper into the chat, they share that really they are no longer completely fulfilled in their job and would really like a change. So are people just waiting for a call from a headhunter to move their career on?
